My trip to Ferrymead

Kia Ora,

On Wednesday Room 5/6 went to Ferrymead. In class we are learning about how the past shapes into the future. We started by getting into our groups then we went on the bus. When we got there met Robert he told us the rules. My group went baking to cook cookies. I baked a kiwi shaped cookie Then we went to a school (that was very old) to experience what a school would be like in the 1900's. It was frighting because the person that was pretending to be the teacher banged the table with a cane to get our attention. Then we went to a VERY old house to experience what it would be like to do the chores in the 1900's. After that room 5/6 went on a tram. It was AWESOME because I like going on trains and trams.

Cross Country

When I did Cross Country I ran outside the boundrys. I ran so much I nearly puked but I didn't. I liked that there were people encouraging me. I had to run one lap. I also cheered others to push the limits. I didn't make it first I didn't make it last but it didn't matter if I came last. I'm happy with my self.
